When reputation is everything, how do you follow your heart? That question propels Kate Hamill’s smart and playful adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel Sense and Sensibility. Acclaimed by The New York Times as “a bouncy, jaunty take on Austen,” the play chronicles the fortunes (and misfortunes) of sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood.

Set in the Regency Era with a soundtrack of modern "girly-pop" anthems, Director Kit McKay and the High School Repertory Theatre Production students stage a hilarious yet heartfelt reflection on love, honor, and patriarchal structure.
